Hi David,
I have a 3,5 years old son with DMD. We have got the bad news when he was 1,5 years old. According to the test results, there is a deletion of 46-48th exons.
As of today, we don't have a major physical problem. He just can not run so fast & can't jump properly. He has a very high level of intelligence.
We have been using Cozaar (25mg/day) for nearly 1,5 years and Deltacortril (5mg/day) for nearly 1 year.
In order to keep his physical strength, we drive him to swimming for 4 days a week and try to complete a walk around 500 meters per day.
I wonder if you can recommend any other drugs (Catena?, etc) or something else to retard the progression of the disease?
Can we start to use CoQ10 at his age? If so, what is the dosage?
Best regards,

Bora: Catena is available only in Canada. There are several supplements that could help: protandim, coq10, juven and creatine. My son use all of them.
